Resources for your psychological well-being

Your mental health matters

As a society we tend to think about our physical health and what we need much more so than our mental health. In the same way that it is important that we consider what we put in our bodies and how we use them, similar consideration is incredibly important when it comes to our minds. To do my bit to help I will be adding various 'exercises for the mind' throughout the year.

Please note however that these exercises and any information provided is not a substitute for therapy. If you need to talk to a qualified mental health professional make an appointment with myself, another therapist or reach out to your GP.

A gift for the holiday season and beyond

REASONS TO BE HOPEFUL IN THE HERE AND NOW

The holiday season and life in general can be difficult for all of us, and every so often we all need some of the support, reflection and hope.

This e-book is designed to do just that. 25 people from across the world came together to share their favourite quotes, which I have used to provide further inspiration and insights.

VALUE-BASED LIVING

VALUE-BASED LIVING IN 2019

A reflective activity for the New Year

I imagine many of you will have began the New Year with goals and resolutions. I also imagine many may have already noticed that despite their best intentions they have started to fall by the way-side. This activity introducing value-based living might help you look at your goals differently.

Take a moment to find out what is truly important to you in terms of how you want to live your life. You might surprise yourself.

Meditation has been repeatedly found to be extremely beneficial to our overall health and wellbeing. Over the last 20 years I have learnt, practiced and guided many different types of meditation, influenced by a variety of psychological treatments.

Check back every few weeks as I continue to share meditations you can download for FREE to help you with your ongoing journey.
